The Conference & Expo
The PSD Conference & Expo was created to provide and promote in-person hands-on training. Public safety personnel from near and far will come together in the Broward County area to participate in their choice of 6 diver certifications or 2 non-diver certifications and a variety of seminars. In addition, the attendees will have a rare opportunity to experience real-life dive conditions in actual canals and lakes to practice the skills they have learned.
Each course will be taught by some of the best instructors in the business who are currently employed or retired from PSD teams. The PSD Conference has 25+ instructors with several decades of Police, Fire, Towing, FEMA, USAR, Military, and TRT experience. Additionally, several of the curriculum’s authors will be instructing at the conference. After successfully completing a course, you will receive the ERDI certification (and card) associated with the topic.
Our input and instruction aren’t theoretical; it’s practical. Our instructors have managed actual incidents affecting the rescue or recovery of submerged people and property. The PSD Conference will empower divers to learn new and vital skills and return to share those skills with their agencies.
